CAS 8002-74-2Fischer-Tropsch Wax
Fischer-Tropsch (FT) Wax is a fully synthetic paraffinic wax produced from syngas via the Fischer-Tropsch process. It offers extremely high purity (>99%), a very narrow molecular weight distribution, and low oil content. Its high melting point and outstanding hardness make it superior to petroleum-based paraffin in demanding applications. FT wax is preferred in high-performance hot-melt adhesives, powder coatings, rubber processing, road marking paints, and as a replacement for microcrystalline wax.
Applications
- High-performance hot-melt adhesives
- Powder coatings slip additive
